Astudiodd Gwyn gwrs Dylunio Theatr yng Ngholeg Brenhinol Cerdd a Drama Cymru, Caerdydd. Ers graddio mae wedi magu profiad eang a sicrhau enw da fel dylunydd dibynadwy effeithlon mewn sawl cyfrwng. Fel dylunydd eangfrydig mae’n creu gofodau trawiadol sy’n llawn dychymyg ac yn cynnig amrywiaeth ond yn sicrhau safon uchel bob tro.
Er mai cynnig gwedd unigryw yw’r nod, perthynas pobol ȃ’i gilydd sy’n ysbrydoli a gyrru ei gynlluniau, y cysylltiadau personol sydd gan bobol gyda’u gofod, eu gofynion a’u hanghenion, eu dathliadau a’u mwynhad.
Boed yn gymeriadau ar lwyfan theatr neu set ffilm, yn berfformwyr a chynulleidfa yn mwynhau gwŷl neu ddigwyddiad unigryw neu’n anghenion go iawn prosiect cymnuedol, mae gofodau Gwyn wastad yn darparu’r gonestrwydd, hygrydedd a dyfeisgarwch i nythu pobol a’u teimladau.
Creating special spaces and visual experiences for film and television, theatre, live events and community locations
Gwyn studied Theatre Design at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff. Since graduating he’s gained vast experience and a reputation as a dependable efficient designer across many mediums. He is regarded as a freethinking designer who creates striking spaces that are full of imagination, offering variety but always high quality designs.
Although providing stunning visual spaces and aesthetic it is people’s interactions and relationships that inspire and drive his designs, people’s personal connections within their space, their needs and requirements, celebrations and joys within their environments.
Whether fictional characters in the theatre or on a film set, performers and audiences enjoying an unique festival or event or the real tangible needs of community projects, Gwyn’s spaces provide truth, integrity and ingenuity to nest those people and their emotions.
