Yr Eisteddfod, wythnos bwysicaf y flwyddyn i lawer, ar mis prysuraf i mi, wrth ymgymryd a’r antur anferthol o lywio dyluniad a gwedd y maes, mewn cornel newydd o Gymru pob haf. Fflags, bylbs, arwyddion, murluniau, llwyfanau, dodrefn, cerfluiau; her enfawr yw cwbwlhau’r maes ond pleser yng nghwmni criw o gyfeillion talentog a ffraeth.
The Eisteddfod, Wales’ largest festival, Europe’s largest touring festival, it encapsulates our nation’s diverse culture and rich history during a packed week in August. As the site designer and art director I steer the site’s visual identity, each year in a different corner of Wales. We design and install stages, archways, sculptures, furniture, then there’s murals, archways, bulbs! Big job like!
